SURVIVAL

Sea survival is an essential part of the OPITO and STCW accredited emergency response training. Participants are instructed in several sea survival techniques, e.g. how to board and launch a survival craft, how to don a lifejacket and a survival suit. Most of this training takes place in a pool.


The survival module contains the following materials and equipment:


* Liferafts.
* Survival suits.
* Thermal liners (optional).
* Helihoist device.
* Lifejackets.
* Netting and ropes to practice ship/Offshore Installation abandonment.
* Rescue equipment.
