FIRST AID

First aid lessons are part of both OPITO and STCW courses. The focus in these lessons is on emergency response. People learn appropriate actions on accidents and injuries. Most of the lesson is theory although some practice is being taught as well.


The module First Aid which Nautech Safety Equipment delivers, contains everything which is recommended by OPITO and STCW:


* Resusci Anne, which is a dummy on which the CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) techniques can be practiced.
* Anatomic torso, example of the human body which helps to explain the theory.
* Posters
* Bandages, stethoscope, etc.
* AED (Automatic Electronic Defibrillator) Trainer.
